Social and electronic media is inundated with a video in which a lady ; self-proclaimed wife of a Colonel is ostensibly outrageous on police at Hazara Motorway police check point.She is lambasting the police officer on duty to let her car pass the obstacles while in flaunting her husband's ranks.This incident sparked a raucous debate culminated in sheer criticism against whole institution of Army. The mundane apprehended and discerned the attitude of lady as superiority complex and mindset of elite that has entrenched in our society.The very mindset is contemptous towards down trodden and lower tier of our society. There is a school of thought which calls this incident a conspiracy cooked to malign the stature of Army.In accordance with this school she is lawyer by profession and wife of an advocate Farooq based in Abottabad. It is pertinent to ask whether this is the first incident where influential people either from Parliament ,Civil-Military bureaucracy or from Feuda

"Corona Vs Pakistan" Corona is something serious having drastic perils.Unfortunately it is condoned so far.Developed countries like Germany has shut borders.Italy is striving hard to pull it from quagmire.USA has no better fate.China locked down whole Wuhan when it was spreading.Death toll in Iran crossed 1000. Where does a developing country like Pakistan stand which has to receive aid from World Bank and ADB an amount of $588m to fight Corona ?Sindh government has been doing best ,then comes Balochistan but Punjab/Federal failed to manifest readiness and Preparedness as it ought to because deaths just started.People are roaming around.Sacred Makkah and Shrine of Iran are closed but Mosques in Pakistan are open.Tablig gatherings are still held.Isnot this a crisis why no lock down?  Evidently there is a lapse while providing required equipment to doctors to pacify this pandemic.They are our saviors-the frontline.If they survive then they can give adequate treatment.They must

یہ کوئی ڈھکی چھپی بات نہیں کہ پاکستان کے علماء میں زیادہ تر نے اپنی ڈھیڈ انچ کی مسجد بنائی ہوتی ھے اور منبر  سے نت نیے فتووں سے عوام میں اشتعال پھیلاتے ہیں پھر جب سافٹ ویئر اپ ڈیٹ ہوتا ھے تو بلکل ٹھیک ہوتے ہیں- میری ناقص عقل کا یہ ماننا ھے کہ دین اتنا مشکل نہیں جتنا ان لوگوں نے بنا دیا ھے - دین انسان کے لئے آسانیاں پیدا کرتا ھے- ایسے حالات میں دین بتاتا ھے کہ ہم اپنے گھروں میں رہیں تاکہ کسی اور کا گھر نہ اجڑے   کچھ علماء کا یہ ماننا ھے کہ مساجد کو بند نہیں کرنا چاہے -  کعبہ ،مسجد نبوی ،مشہد، نجف بند ہو گئے پر بند نہیں تو صادق آباد  کی ایک مینار والی مسجد - لوگ جوق در جوق جماعت کے لئے جاتے ہیں ،جمعہ بھی کندھے سے کندھا اور ٹخنہ سے ٹخنہ سے ملا کے ہوتا ھے - ہم تبلیغ میں بھی اسی عقیدت سے جاتے ہیں بس چند کپڑے ،مسواک اور چپل - کرونا سے کیا ہونا ھے جہاں موت آنی ھے آ جاۓگی - کیا یہ روش ٹھیک ھے ؟  کچھ دن پہلے طارق جمیل کا ایک بیان آیا پھر بعد میں دوسرا جو پہلے سے بلکل مختلف ،علامہ جواد نقوی کو سننے کا اتفاق ہوا موصوف بھی مسجد کو بند کرنے کے حق میں نہیں- یہی لوگ ہیں جو لوگوں کے کنفیوژن کو بڑھا دی

"Corona & Ramadan" Happened to visit market in Saqidabad area.It was jam packed and crowded.People weren't having face masks,no social-distancing and there was a feeling as Corona is not an issue and Pakistanis will easily fight this pandemic. Ramadan asks to feel for poor via hunger but No we need to buy Fruits,Drinks and food items more than our regular consumption.Without "Samosa and Pakora" we cant break fasting.First we will take a light Iftar with fruits,drinks,dates,Kajori,Finger chips then we will have a heavy dinner.We have to eat to our full as we keep fasting throughout the day.This is something antithetical and opposite to Islamic teachings. Being the frontline officers to serve public, bureaucrats need to create goodwill and friendly environment for the people in their jurisdiction. Insistence on offering prayers in mosques during the pandemic, knowing you can contract a virus and spread around is something very dangerous expression on irresponsible behaviour. Does it make one non-religious or infidel if he stays at home and thinks about others who can fall prey to the virus because of him? Is a very pertinent question to ask here. Religions tell us to help others, save humanity, promote empathy and love. How come any religion allows you to contribute to spreading the virus and putting others’ lives in danger? Believers have faith in God, I do possess but my faith does not allow me to put other’s lives at stake as it is tantamount to killing humanity. Prayers and supplications are for purgation of soul, heart and conscience. If God forbid, I contract the virus by going to a mosque as we never know about symptoms till 14 days or it might be asymptomatic, am I not piling up the burden on my conscience? What if an elderly falls infected because of my obstinate piety?
